Your questions answered

Contact me and we can arrange a time for a free online introduction session for thirty minutes. This will provide you with an opportunity to find out more about me, my approach and the type of coaching offered. I will ask about what you or your team or group want from coaching.

If you wish to proceed, we will book an initial paid session for you to experience coaching with me. Subsequently, sessions will be booked in blocks of three. You will receive a coaching agreement based on our discussions. This will make clear limits of confidentiality and data protection issues. The link to the privacy notice is at the bottom of this page.

Information about fees and where and when sessions can take place is below.

How much do you charge?

Individual coaching

I offer a sliding scale. Fees are £65 for an hour’s coaching if you earn over £45k per annum or live in a home with a high shared income. Otherwise, sessions are £55 per hour. A £50 pound an hour rate (or £60) is offered for blocks of four sessions paid in advance.

I offer a small number of lower cost coaching sessions if £55 is a barrier to access. Please get in touch to find out more.

If you have a disability or health condition you may be able to secure Access to Work funding for the coaching. More information can be found on Gov.uk.

Coachees are asked to pay in advance of each session via bank transfer. I can invoice if that is helpful for record keeping.

Group and team coaching

Charges for this will be negotiated depending on the type of coaching and planning required, the length of sessions and the number of sessions being requested. The cost will be for a coaching programme and include resources, coach overheads, and supervision.

For group and team coaching a 1.5 - 2 hour session is recommended.

The approximate charge will be £75 per hour for a group of up to 9 people.

How regularly would we meet for coaching and for how long?

Small purple and white flowers with green leafy stems growing at the base of a textured white wall.

How often coaching takes place is up to the person being coached or the group or team coaching agreement. Sessions could be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. One-off sessions can be offered if there is a specific issue to unravel.

Four to six sessions is recommended with the option to add to these if further coaching is wanted.

Where would the coaching take place?

I offer coaching online via zoom. The coachee or coachees will require a confidential space in which to participate. For those close to or in Brighton & Hove I can provide walking coaching.

I can travel to workplaces and education settings. The setting would need to make available suitable spaces to maintain the confidential nature of coaching conversations. There may be an additional charge for travel expenses.

What is Internal Family Systems or IFS?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, mind-body approach that understands each person as having different “parts” — inner voices, emotions, and patterns that each hold positive intentions, even when they feel in conflict. The goal isn’t to silence or fix these parts, but to understand them and build trust with your calm, centered core — your Self — the inner leader capable of clarity and compassion.

IFS-informed coaching focuses on personal growth, self-leadership, and helping your parts work together in a more aligned way. Coaching may help you get to know protective parts and develop supportive strategies for everyday challenges.

It’s important to note that IFS coaches do not work with trauma healing processes such as “unburdening exiles” — the deeper therapeutic work meant to resolve past wounds. That level of healing is reserved for trained mental health professionals practicing IFS therapy.

IFS-informed coaching instead supports you in developing curiosity, confidence, and harmony within your inner world — empowering meaningful change from the inside out.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) was developed in the 1980s by Dr. Richard C. Schwartz, a family therapist who discovered that people’s inner lives are made up of distinct “parts” that interact in ways much like a family system. Through his clinical work, he found that healing and growth happen when these parts are understood and led by a compassionate, centered Self.
